Plain-language summary
AdmitScale is built for families. We collect only what we need to build your personalized college blueprint, we don't sell your data, we don't share it with admissions offices, and we don't use it for advertising. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
What we collect
- Name and email address
- Academic profile: GPA, test scores (SAT/ACT), course rigor (AP/IB/honors counts)
- Activities and interests
- Intended major or area of study
- Financial preferences (target net price, scholarship interest)
- Geographic preferences (regions, urban/suburban/rural)
How we use your data
Solely to generate your personalized blueprint, deliver it to you by email, and let you return to your saved reports. We use anonymized analytics (page views, button clicks) to improve the product.
What we will never do
- We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
- We do not share your data with admissions offices, schools, or recruiters.
- We do not use your data for advertising or retargeting.
Children & families (COPPA)
AdmitScale is intended for users age 13 and older. If you are under 18, we ask that you review the assessment with a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Your rights (CCPA / GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@admitscale.com from the email address on your account. We respond within 30 days.
Data retention
We retain your blueprint and intake data for 12 months by default so you can return to it. After 12 months of inactivity, data is automatically purged. You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing us.
Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies for analytics (to understand which pages help families most) and to keep you signed in to your saved reports. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.
