Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 13, 2026
Welcome to AdmitScale. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and AdmitScale ("AdmitScale," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using https://admitscale.com or purchasing AdmitScale Blueprint (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You may use the Service only if:
- You are at least 13 years old, and
- If you are under 18, you have permission from a parent or legal guardian, and
- You can form a legally binding contract under applicable law
Parents and guardians who allow their minor children to use the Service agree to these Terms on the minor's behalf and are responsible for the minor's use of the Service.
School counselors using AdmitScale on behalf of students agree that they have obtained any consents required under FERPA or applicable state laws.
2. The Service
AdmitScale provides a digital product called AdmitScale Blueprint: a personalized college list with admit context, net-cost estimates, scholarship signals, and a strengthening plan, generated based on information you provide during an assessment.
The Service is provided for informational and planning purposes only. AdmitScale is not a college admissions consultancy, legal advisor, financial advisor, or educational institution. We are not affiliated with any college or university.
3. No guarantees about admissions outcomes
You acknowledge and agree that:
- College admissions decisions are made solely by colleges and universities based on their own criteria
- The information and recommendations provided by AdmitScale are predictions and suggestions, not guarantees
- We do not guarantee admission to any college, scholarship awards, financial aid outcomes, or specific application results
- Our outputs are based on the data you provide and publicly available college information at the time of generation; both can change
- You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any information before relying on it for important decisions
We strongly recommend confirming any specific facts (deadlines, requirements, costs) directly with each college you consider.
4. Your account and information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information in your assessment. The quality of your AdmitScale Blueprint depends on the accuracy of the inputs you provide.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
5. Purchase and payment
AdmitScale Blueprint is sold for $49.00 USD per assessment (or such other price as displayed at checkout at the time of purchase). Payment is processed by Stripe. By submitting payment, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method.
All sales are final. See our Refund Policy for the limited circumstances in which refunds are available.
6. License to use AdmitScale Blueprint
When you purchase AdmitScale Blueprint, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the Blueprint for your own personal college planning purposes (or, for parents/counselors, for the personal planning of the specific student whose information was submitted).
You may not:
- Resell, redistribute, or republish your Blueprint or any portion of the AdmitScale outputs
- Use the Service to build a competing product
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the methodology behind our recommendations
- Use automated tools to scrape or harvest content from our site
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law
7. Intellectual property
All content on the Service — including text, graphics, logos, software, methodology, and the format and structure of AdmitScale Blueprint — is owned by AdmitScale or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The information you submit (your academic profile, preferences, etc.) remains yours. You grant us a limited license to use it to generate and deliver your Blueprint and to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Attempt to access another user's information or account
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Service
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any person
- Violate any applicable law or third-party right
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADMITSCALE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- The outputs of the Service will be accurate, complete, or reliable
- Use of the Service will produce any particular result, including admission to any specific college
You use the Service at your own risk.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL ADMITSCALE OR ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR $49.00, WHICHEVER IS LESS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AdmitScale and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or damage (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kansas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" above. If the changes are material, we will provide notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
15. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AdmitScale regarding the Service.
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms freely.
